The ongoing road to redemption for notorious Hollywood star Lindsay Lohan, 31, has taken a controversial new turn by way of her latest gig — acting as spokesperson for Lawyer.com
In her debut TV commercial for the service, the frequently arrested and occasionally incarcerated Lohan takes a playful approach to her own legal history, specifically making light of her multiple busts for drunk driving.
She’s smiling and plainly dressed in the ad, shirt snapped all the way to the neck. This is in line with her appearance last month at London Modest Fashion Week, to which she wore a black hijab.
Lohan looks into the camera and says:
“When Lawyer.com first reached out to me, um, I was confused and a little scared, because I thought I was in trouble. But when they asked me to be their spokesperson, I was intrigued. After meeting with the team, I realized that Lawyer.com is just about helping people.”
From getting a DUI — let’s not forget I got one … [gently laughs] or two or three or some others.”
Lohan ends the spot with a cheeky wink. She has reportedly signed to represent the service for the next year, so more commercials with Lohan are expected to be produced and made public.
In an official statement, Laywer.com CEO Gerald Gorman applauded his new employee, saying:
“With Lindsay’s help, many more consumers can delight in the ease and speed of our services. Our team is already benefiting from Lindsay’s world class experience and we have many exciting plans for the 12-month engagement.”
