Police Release Graphic New Images From Scene Of ‘Slender Man’ Stabbing

Graphic new details surfaced this week in the disturbing stabbing — dubbed the “Slender Man” case — of a 12-year-old girl in a 2014 attack perpetrated by her schoolmates.

With Morgan Geyser and Anissa Weier, who were in sixth grade at the time, now serving decades-long sentences in a psychiatric facility, authorities in Wisconsin released images of the bloody evidence presented in the case.

Among the now-public photos is a depiction of the blood-stained outfit victim Payton Leutner was wearing when she was stabbed, as reported by the New York Post.

With one stab wound coming perilously close to her heart, the preteen was lucky to survive the savage attack.

A white shirt bearing the optimistic words “Love Hope Smile Beautiful Dream” and yellow jeans bear the evidence of a violent attempted homicide, including several holes left from the 19 stab wounds she suffered.

The photos also show physical evidence including a knife taken from Geyser’s home and a backpack used by the killers when they lured their victim into the woods. Snacks and notebooks can also be seen among the items pictured.

As CrimeOnline previously reported, both suspects in the case pleaded guilty by reason of mental illness for their role in the death. They claimed to have been motivated by a desire to please a fictional character known as Slender Man.

Authorities determined that Weier served as an instigator to Geyser, who actually stabbed the young victim.

Leutner’s mother said she is a freshman in high school now, still bearing constant reminders of the scars she will always carry with her.

“Payton has a lifetime of healing ahead of her,” she said.
